Welcome to first grade! We are so excited to teach your children and we have many great things planned for the year! We look forward to watching your child learn and grow all year long!

About Ms. Friedman

Ms. Friedman received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a special education endorsement from the University of Illinois in 2010. She recieived her Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist in 2014. This is her 8th year teaching and her 2nd year at Ideal. Prior to Ideal, Ms. Friedman taught 2 years of Kindergarten and 4 years of 1st grade in Joliet.

About Miss Niepokoj

Ms. Niepokoj earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a special education endorsement from the University of Dayton in 2008. This is her ninth year teaching and her second year at Ideal. Prior to teaching first grade at Ideal, Miss Niepokoj taught seven years of Kindergarten in Glencoe School District 35 and at Discovery Charter School in northwest Indiana.
