    All Kindergarten Families are invited to a Year-End Celebration on the last day of school, June 1st from 10:30-11:30am.  All kindergarteners will be performing a short presentation that we know you will all enjoy!  All family members are welcome.

    Shared Reading Focus:  Poetry/Different Genres

    We have been learning that fiction stories are make believe, non-fiction stories are real and give us facts, and poems have rhythm and can rhyme.

  • The kindergarteners have been learning their shapes.  They have found shapes all around the classroom and school and they created scenes using their favorite shapes of all colors and sizes.

  • Ten Black Dots

    The kinders have been counting, learning read and print their numbers.  They read the book Ten Black Dots by Donald then illustrated what they would do with Ten Black Dots!  Take a look....

  • Ten Apples on Top!

     

    The kinders continue their counting activities each week.  

    They loved reading Dr. Suess' Ten Apples on Tops (writing as Theo LeSieg).

    They created a pattern of 10 apples on top of their own head.
