Instructors: Mrs. Dahlin and Miss McGinnis
Teaching is a true passion of mine. I love working with students and watching them grow and learn in many ways. I encourage the love of learning and support and empower students to challenge themselves to do their best in all areas. I achieved my undergraduate degree in elementary education at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my master's in education from DePaul University in the area of Language, Literacy and Specialized Instruction with an emphasis on Reading and Learning Disabilities. I love teaching and enjoy expanding my own knowledge. I am a very energetic person and encourage students to be enthusiastic about learning! Visit Mrs. Dahlin's Google Classroom page.
I am so happy to be your child’s third-grade teacher this year. I want my students to enjoy their educational experiences with me. I am excited to make a contribution that lasts a lifetime for each of them, one that is filled with a true love of learning. I have 34 years of experience teaching third grade and have so many amazing heart-warming classroom memories throughout all those years. Seeing this is my last year before I retire, I truly want it to be my best one, and I'm thrilled that your child will be part of it. Many years ago, I got my undergraduate degree from Illinois State. Plus, I have my Master's degree in mathematics from National Lewis University in Evanston and my reading endorsement from the University of Illinois. Here's to an incredible year together smiling, learning, and growing! Visit Miss McGinnis's Google Classroom page.
