Cross Country Announcement for all 2nd-8th Graders
What's up, Tigers?!
As we look towards next season, it's important to consider local training options. Coach Borling, Coach Mayer and I all coach with the West Suburban Harriers which provides a fun, low-cost summer option. It includes cross country AND track races, as well. Our Junior Harriers program is 2nd-4th grade and Harriers is 5th-8th...low cost, flexible, fun...fuhgettaboutit.
Here is a link to our site & program links: https://www.westsuburbanxc.com/
There is also the LT running camp run by Gurrie's own Joe Pontrelli, head cross country coach at LT. Depending on the days and hours, this may be a better fit for your schedule. Pontrelli rules and this is recommended; only for students entering 5-7th grade:

In the meantime, D102 & D105 have local races back-to-back weekends in April, so please encourage your runners to get out and put their training to work. The Harriers will be on site at the D102 race April 19th, so show up if you'd like to talk in person and get a sense of our program. Signups are here:
