Mission Statement District 105 strives to create an environment for a multi-cultural educational experience which promotes thought, appreciation, and respect for individual rights and interdependence of all human beings. This environment will foster optimum growth and development of each student through an academic program focusing on basic skills, critical thinking, creative problem solving, and transmission of cultural knowledge and values. A variety of enrichment activities will be offered to support and supplement the academic program, and to promote the development of the whole child. This mission will be accomplished through the efforts of a dedicated professional staff, with the cooperation of parents, and community.
